<p>By the end of this session, you should be able to:</p>

<li><strong>Identify DE Africa products:</strong> Understand the main continental services (e.g. GeoMAD, WOfS, Coastlines) and what they represent.</li>
<li><strong>Describe product structure:</strong> Explain how DE Africa products are organised into bands, their spatial resolution, and file formats (mostly Cloud-Optimized GeoTIFFs).</li>
<li><strong>Locate metadata:</strong> Use the Metadata Explorer and STAC catalog to find when and where data is available.</li>
<li><strong>Access data:</strong> Use AWS S3 (with AWS CLI or Python) and the STAC API to retrieve DE Africa data outside the Sandbox.</li>
<li><strong>Work across environments:</strong> Apply these tools on Windows, macOS, or Linux, and run workflows locally (for example, in VS Code).</li>
